Summary:

This online computer training course shows users how to start, shut down, and restart the computer; display system and desktop information and online help; work with icons and windows; organize files and folders; and edit and print data. This course describes how to meet European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) objectives on a personal computer that uses a Windows operating system. The ECDL/ICDL test can be taken with any system/application, and although this course demonstrates a specific system/application, the tasks it teaches can be applied to other systems/applications as well.

    This course is for those people who have never used a computer and for those who have some computer experience but no formal qualification proving their knowledge or skills. It is also for those people who are preparing to take the International Computer Driving Licence Foundation examination.

    200MHz Pentium with 32MB Ram. 640 x 480 256-color video (800 x 600 is recommended). Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000, or XP. Minimum Connection Speed: 28.8k. Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher required. Authorware and Macromedia Flash player recommended but not required. JavaScript must be enabled. Netscape and AOL browsers not supported.
